Thank you for considering hosting your prom at the 1770 Sherman Street Event Complex! We enjoy having the students here and you may find the following information helpful when planning your prom.

  1. We do not offer non-profit discounts on proms. The rental fee is $2,500 + $250 cleaning + $200 security + $270 police officer. This is for 8 consecutive hours: 2hrs to set up, 5hrs for the event and 1hr to clean up. Additional load in hours can be purchased for $25 per hour for a minimum of 4 hours. The room is rented empty; seating tables and chairs are additional. Events over 400 guests will require a fire detail($270).
  2. We require one (1) chaperone for every 25 attendees. Please bring your resource officer.
  3. Catering arrangements need to be made through Michael’s of Denver Catering for all food and beverages. Beverages, including water service, are $3.50 per guest, and desserts start at $5 per guest, or you may purchase a fixed amount. Energy drinks and frozen beverages (latte, mocha, mango & raspberry flavors available) are available for $5.50 per guest. Chocolate fountain start at $450 (dipping items are additional), ice sculptors with a beverage luge start at $500, and punch fountains start at $85. Staffing for the event is an additional cost and requires a minimum of three per event.
  4. No one may load in through the front doors. You must use the southeast alley door only.
  5. Coat check is available for $1 per guest. If you man the coat check, 1770 Sherman Street, LLC will supply the room, coat-check tickets and hangers for $50 and is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
  6. No in and out of the building, please.
  7. This is a non-smoking facility. Smoking or drinking alcohol will cause the cancellation of your event.
  8. All décor installed needs to be removed within one hour after the conclusion of the event.
  • No mylar or paper confetti.
  • All boxes must be broken down, and placed in the dumpster.
  • Nothing may be attached to the walls, columns, ceilings or floor.
  • Zip ties or fishing line may be used to attach to the brass railings.
